IF YOU WISH TO RAISE ANY ISSUES THEN PLEASE CONTACT ME DIRECTLY. I never thought that this would be a popular video but like to highlight the point why you should NEVER put male guinea pigs together unless they have been brought up together since birth AND there are no females in the vicinity. NOTE that I do not allow my male guinea pigs to fight and they are kept separated at all times. Guinea pigs have their own way of communicating with each other and teeth chattering is the final warning to tell another guinea pig to back off or I will bite you. Charlie and Fudge are renowned for doing this as they are both dominant male guinea pigs. I would point out that you will not find a video posted on this channel of my two male guinea pigs fighting because they are never put together.

Animal rights - How We Treat Animals Reflects Who We Are
From a purely biological perspective, no mammal inherently has ownership beyond that which it has the power to impose. What is able to survive does, what cannot does not. But our world is not just biology. It is ethics as well. "Might makes right" cannot be the operating paradigm in a world where freedom, compassion, humanity, and love are desired. Nor are we removed from consideration of the ownership of other creatures just because we are paying somebody else to generate drugs, scent a deodorant, or raise our food.
Humans with the ability to use their technology to sway and control the world so widely and deeply are permanently faced with ethical choices. Contemporary life is not a matter of mere survival as it was when we were in the wild. It is an opportunity to establish and grow as introspective, sensitive, and ethical people. For example, walking in the woods requires no rules, but driving in traffic does. Drinking from a stream is not a problem, but damming the stream and flooding thousands of acres is. Breaking down brush with our hands to make a lean-to for protection is one thing, but denuding the planet with machines is quite another. Hunting animals in the wild for food using only ingenuity, strength, and speed is a matter totally unlike wiping out whole populations with rifles (for 'sport') or with our urban encroachment. Farming animals to feed a swelling people is necessary, but denying them any form of natural or decent life, or subjecting them to abuse or cruelty is not a right we can claim.
Guinea Pigs Sounds
Living in the wild would gift few ethical choices. Causes and philosophy have a way of taking a back seat when life is consumed with day-to-day survival. But an industrialized community with roughly limitless technological capabilities is someone else matter. Our ability now to roughly cage and control every mammal on the planet and virtually destroy the Earth's life-supporting environment on an Earth-wide scale requires choices and ethical responsibility.

Funnyman Adam Sandler stars in Walt Disney Pictures' Bedtime Stories, the magical family comedy that's packed with adventure and lots of heart. These nighttime fantasies become Skeeter's daytime realities, leading him on a real-life adventure in search of his own happy ending. Filled with colorful characters, humor and whimsy, this heartwarming comedy will enchant your entire family again and again.Bedtime Stories Specifications
A fantastical tale about a man who makes up bedtime stories for his niece and nephew only to find that they magically come true the next day, Bedtime Stories is a funny and enjoyable film about finding happiness in unexpected places. Skeeter (Adam Sandler) grew up with his sister Wendy (Courteney Cox) in a small hotel run by his father Marty (Jonathan Pryce) which was eventually sold to Barry Nottingham (Richard Griffiths) with the caveat that Skeeter would someday assume a leadership role in the business. Expansion transformed the small hotel into the luxury Nottingham Hotel, but Skeeter is just a handyman with little hope of advancement. When his sister needs to leave the state for a job interview, Skeeter ends up sharing the responsibility of watching her two elementary-age children Bobbi (Laura Ann Kessling) and Patrick (Jonathan Morgan Heit), whom he hasn't seen for years, with Wendy's friend Jill (Keri Russell). Initially an awkward situation, Skeeter and the kids bond over bedtime stories which Skeeter and the children make up. When events in the story start coming true, Skeeter tries to spin the stories to benefit his life, but events take some unexpected turns thanks to the kids' wild imaginations and some strange translations between fiction and reality. New relationships flourish and in the end, Skeeter, Wendy, Mr. Nottingham, Bobbi, Patrick, and Jill each find happiness in a most unexpected place and discover what's really important in their own life. Also worth mentioning is the character Bugsy, a guinea pig with enormous eyes that's sure to have every child begging for their own pet guinea pig. Rated PG for mild rude humor and mild language, but appropriate for most ages 6 and older. --Tami HoriuchiCustomer Reviews

The first option to be made, it would seem, is either we wish to survive here long term or not. Assuming the retort is yes, we must take fiduciary accountability for the planet and its web of life. But it does not end there, as some humane and green movements would seem to argue. In order to survive we must also take the lives of the plant and animal food we consume. That is a reality we face, and, assuming we wish to survive, it is not a matter of ethics. On the other hand, our management and behavior toward other living things-including our food-do gift moral choices. It also creates a mood, if you will, setting the tone for how we treat one another. If we find it easy to treat life with insensitivity, it is a small step to treat one someone else the same way. If we enlarge care, compassion, and decency out toward the rest of the world, we are far more likely to treat fellow humans similarly.
Killing animals or plants for fun or just because we have the power to do so is neither rational nor ethical. It is a form of psychopathic behavior that threatens the web of life upon which we depend and desensitizes us to the value of all life.
People who take joy in the pain, suffering, and death of other creatures, or expound it because of dollars to be made, threaten civilization itself. It is not that great a leap for those who behave in this way to enlarge similar insensitivity to humans. Would we rather live next door to someone who creates habitat for wild creatures in their yard and live-captures house mice to set them free outdoors, or someone who stomps on any bug they see, chains their dog to a stake in the yard, yahoos about shooting songbirds from their window with a pellet gun, and hunts for trophies leaving carcasses to rot? It is not a coincidence that serial killers often have a history of torturing and killing animals (1).
Creatures raised for food should not be treated as nothing more than output units, confined so as to never see the light of day, and then be handled and slaughtered inhumanely. They should be raised amiable in a free and open environment where they might enjoy the life they have. Arguably hunting should be reserved for the particular purpose of obtaining food, not for the pleasure of killing. If there is opportunity to show compassion, why not take it rather than abuse and exploit just because we have the power to do so?
Scientists and much of the public expound animal experimentation as essential in order to find disease cures, test toxins, check mascara safety, and so on. I am reminded of an perceive in a toxicology class. The chapter for the day was to show how topical products could be screened for safety. For a demonstration, the professor held a rabbit by the nap and put some drops of a chemical in the rabbit's eye. The rabbit squealed and struggled in pain. It was a miserable thing to see. As days went by we were shown the progression of the caustic chemical on the rabbit's cornea. The extreme ulceration that resulted was grotesque and the pain the rabbit was enduring was gut wrenching. To this day I remember vividly and regret that I paid tuition for this needless cruelty-although to show any reaction at the time risked being viewed as unscientific and emotional, a specific no-no in medical schools.
The chapter to be learned from this pathetic display of human insensitivity was that noxious chemicals will ulcerate and dissolve eyes. How profound. There wasn't a trainee in the class that could not have guessed the outcome before the macabre demonstration was done. The real takeaway was that life could be treated with disregard. If we wanted to be good doctors we needed to suck it up, put aside silly compassion and bravely mutilate life for the sake of the greater good of medicine.
Torture aside, such experimentation is unnecessary and honestly quite embarrassingly sloppy science. Those who partake in it become desensitized to suffering, lose compassion, and learn to hone the skill of obtuse justification. medical experimentation upon animals is unnecessary because every species reacts to toxins, drugs, and even surgery differently. For that matter, every individual is dissimilar biochemically. What might be true for one goose is not for a gander. So a scientific follow from a lab in which thousands of mice, dogs, or monkeys are tortured does not give certainty about an follow in humans or in other species. Biological differences skew all results (2).
Aspirin causes birth defects in rats but not in humans. Humans and guinea pigs wish vitamin C in the diet but most other creatures establish it themselves. An opium dose that will kill a human is inoffensive in dogs and chicks. Allylisothiocyanate will cause cancer in the male rat, but may not in the female, or in mice. Penicillin will kill a guinea pig but potentially save the life of a person. Most drugs, nutrients, and toxins have a reverse effect: a advantage at one level is a danger at another. Measuring such things is near impossible (3). Even kindness in the lab can alter results as demonstrated by atherosclerosis (the heart strike factor) being reduced by as much as 60% in rabbits that are handled, compared to those ignored (4).
The point is that nobody knows all the variables when conducting such research. They can only control for some, guess at all the others, and then make an extrapolation, a huge leap in faith timed honestly to occur before the budget runs out. This is the infer drugs go through years of Fda trials at a cost of 360 million dollars, and then can kill and maim when introduced to the population.
Nevertheless, such heartless experimentation proceeds in the name of science and the promise of cures. It's a shame. Using a exiguous logic, or other laboratory tools such as tissue culture techniques, could as well have led to the same conclusions gained from animal experimentation. For example, researchers used 24,000 mice to prove that 2-acetylaminofluorene was carcinogenic. Based on genetic context logic, you or I could have told them the follow without caging or torturing one mouse. Why would a artificial chemical such as this not be harmful?
What is most frustrating is that the follow of all the animal experimentation is not cures. Rather, there are hundreds of thousands of maimed and killed humans who bought into the faulty science of such 'proven' drugs. Animal study brings us drugs with side effects, dependencies, prescribe errors, cross-reactions, and dismissal of symptoms while the cause of the disease continues. Animal experimentation is a bad idea at its start and a tragic disaster in practice.
The favorite idea is that our environment, including all of its creatures, is a mere resource for our exploitation. That is irrational if long-term human welfare is to matter and denies that humans have a higher purpose than might makes right.

2nd Grade Science Fair Projects
Science projects for second graders help them learn a scientific principle straight through an experiment or a series of experiments. The task helps them to apply the skills that they have been taught. straight through the second grade science fair project, children learn to ask questions, collect relevant data, write conclusions and present their findings in an spellbinding and sufficient manner.
While choosing the topic for the second grade science fair project, the raw materials required should be kept in mind. Very good second grade science fair projects can be done using household materials and material, which are commonly and as a matter of fact available. High-priced laboratory equipment is not principal for a second grade science fair project.
Guinea Pigs Sounds
The whole second grade science fair task has to be thoroughly planned. The reports that are written should be clear and to the point.
Presentation is the key factor in second grade science fair projects and the following should be kept in mind:
1.The child should understand the topic very clearly and should have as a matter of fact no doubts.
2.The child should be able to by comparison the task without reading it out.
3.The child should be confident and enthusiastic.
4.The child should be able to speak knowledgeably.
5.The child should present the task in a well organized and clear manner.
6.The task should be customary and unique reflecting the creativity of the child.
Topics for second grade science projects are innumerable. However, spellbinding and customary projects can be based on these questions: -
- How far can an animal be heard?
- How are diseases transmitted?
- How long are the blood vessels in separate animals?
- Do plants lose water straight through their leaves?
- Which side of a plant leaf takes in Carbon dioxide?
- How do separate colored lights affect plants?
- How fast can a rat/guinea pig run straight through a maze?
- Why is the sky blue?
- How are rainbows formed?
- Why does ice cream melt?
The advantages of doing an experiment so early on are innumerable. Such projects arouse the curiosity of the student. They are also intellectually stimulating as the child searches for answers instead of being spoon fed information. The students conducts the experiment and gets the effect and then explores the conjecture behind the effect and the scientific principle or theory involved.
Some experiments are done in groups. In such cases, children learn to co-operate with one other and work together as a team. They learn the point of team spirit and they learn to adjust and compromise. In case the task has to be done individually, the child learns to be independent and self confident, however, these projects must be very small in scale, because the students are still to young and disorganized to do anyone too complex.
These experiments also improve the bond between children and parents. The parents and children sit together and discuss varied topics and the options available to them. The child feels happy that the parent is complex in his or her school work.
The second grade fair science projects also enable a pupil to learn a topic thoroughly and as he or she has learn it on his/her own, the child will not as a matter of fact forget the scientific principle involved. Also, these experiments encourage children to enjoy science and establish a love for the subject.

Caplin does not bark very often, only when startled or really excited and playful so it has been difficult to catch on video. Throat Constriction Or Spasm Conditions of the Esophagus and Reflux on the increase
Are you getting food stuck at the top of your throat or chest? It feels like your esophagus has collapsed and you can't even swallow the saliva in your mouth. What happens is your lower esophagus muscle or sphincter muscle doesn't relax properly to let food enter your stomach. Your muscles in your esophagus that allow food or liquid to pass are commonly done when you are not swallowing.
It may seem to be right the opposite, but your throat is commonly closed, until you swallow. I personally have experienced this sticking or done throat situation and it was literally nerve racking the first time or two. Not that each time I've experienced it hasn't been, but I have learned to deal with it in a more calming fashion now.
The worst reaction to your throat contraction or sticking is to panic. Once you comprehend your throat will not allow you to swallow and food is lodged, you can still breathe, so relax as much as possible. The time it takes for your throat to open can vary considerably. My throat constrictions situations have assorted from a few seconds to any minutes. There was one opportunity where it was stuck for roughly 45 minutes. The types of food commonly are coarse that trigger these throat constrictions. From coated pills, to lettuce and red meats are the most coarse among sufferers of throat constriction. As time goes on and you encounter more occasions of throat constrictions you may have more foods that become triggers. Cheeses and baked potatoes may also cause you to experience the throat constrictions too.
Guinea Pigs Sounds
My first experience literally led me to the Er to have the red meat stuck in my throat to be pushed down with the help of Er personnel. I later went to an ear nose and throat doctor that took a camera scope down my throat and carefully some minor throat abrasions but nothing more.
Some other consuming facts that I have secure with my personal experiences with my throat closing while eating is, it's an immediate knowing as to what is happening and as I said before, do not panic, it is not life threatening. You can still breathe. If you can get outside so that you can continue to spit your saliva as it continues to build in your throat, do that. You never realizes how much you salivate until you can't swallow it. So many helpful souls will try to get you to drink something. This doesn't work. If you can take very small sips of water. Any other fluid commonly contains sugar or other flavors that may prevent the throat from opening.
Another fact that seems to be quite distinct is the age factor. Since my experiences, I have talked to others and it seems to happen over 40 years of age more often. The unmistakable gurgling sound when a person is experiencing the throat collapse seems universal.
Since I have not sought more curative attention, being the typical male, I have done some things that affected the frequency of this event. I chose to lose some weight and mysteriously this throat constriction qoute simple went away after I had lost roughly 15 pounds. I plan maybe this constriction thing is tied to being over weight. It held true until about a year later I had regained the
weight I lost and my throat spasms or constrictions returned.
A friend of mine for some 30 years, is a few years older than me, and he too has fought this problem. He had had a throat cancer and fortunately has beat that, but he later had the throat spasms. He went for any throat stretching treatments and felt relief for a duration of a few months before it returned again.
My brother is 45 years old and it has started happening to him. He is more doctor shy, than I am, and has used me as a unqualified curative counselor or guinea pig. This is not advisable but it's the reality. So, aging is a factor and reflux also seems to tie in to this condition as well.
Reflux is more treatable from an curative insight of what is happening. With reflux, this condition is caused by spicy foods and a weak stomach flap. Laying down or trying to sleep can be a bad trigger to reflux. The stomach flap relaxes and doesn't do it's job of holding food in your stomach. As the flap is open when it should not be, your stomach acids are released into your throat and literally burns your esophagus or throat.
Reflux treatments vary, but one selection is to have a minor surgery to tighten the flap, for lack of a great curative explanation. This is a more long term treatment. There are other treatments available and without surgery. Each person is affected somewhat differently or to differing degrees, so you have to decree your what your options are and the medicine you choose.
As we baby boomers continue to live and age, the condition conditions that we face will also increase, and with condition insurance so out of control, if we can help each other to great communicate our conditions, hopefully we can operate our costs and doctor visits as well.
So, in conclusion, I would first try to lose weight, at least 10 pounds and see if the throat constrictions go away or lessen. I would strongly advise staying away from coated pills. This seems to be a chemical triggering affect, of the coated caplet and your throat sensors. I would advise you to take your foods wisely. distinct foods trigger this qoute and if you are carefully to eat what you wish, then cut your food in small bites and drink plain water with your food. Drinks that have sugar in them seem to be a bad combination with distinct foods.
For some think this curative condition is not widely known or understood with many doctors and you will probably be told that when this condition occurs, the food is literally additional down your throat than you think, this is incorrect. It feels like the blockage is right at the top of your throat and it is in most cases.

Baby Guinea Pigs
If you have a pregnant sow (female guinea pig) due to give birth then you are in for a few animated weeks. Ordinarily sows have a litter of between two to four pups. It can be as high as ten pups in some cases. The birth process is very interesting. Most of the time, the mum will take care of the entire process.
It is very foremost that you educate yourself about this subject. Keep in mind that a pregnant sow is always at risk during pregnancy. In fact, about 25% per cent of sows die giving birth to their young. Also, abortions and still births are very common.
Guinea Pigs Sounds
It takes about four weeks before the guinea big babies wean from their mother. Before this time, they will feed about every two hours. Baby guinea pigs are born with teeth, nails and fur and usually open their eyes about two hours after being born. From this time send they will be very inquisitive and want to seek the cage or hutch.
About a day later they will want to start eating hay and other foods. It is foremost that you have adequate ready as you could be feeding a estimate of guinea pigs now. The pups Ordinarily weigh about three or four ounces and have a distance of two to three inches. If they weight less than this, then they will usually die. As long as the birth was normal, you can expect your pups to survive.
After the four weeks have passed, the baby guinea pig will come to be independent from their mum and from you. This is the time that you need to move them to their own cage (males isolate from females). during this time period the females will have entered into sexual maturity so they need to isolate from the males for positive reasons. Also, in some cases males can come to be sexual active at 3 weeks old. So if you want to be extra truthful in preventing unwanted pregnancies isolate the males form the females at 3 weeks of age.
If the mum dies during delivery then you need put them with the father. The father will teach them how to eat solid food and keep them clean. If the father is not present, then you will need to do all things yourself. This means you need to feed them with a milk aggregate every two hours. The milk is twenty-five percent evaporated milk and seventy five percent boiled and then cooled water.
You also need to keep them clean by cleaning their rear ends. You can also teach the pups how to eat solid food. Do this patiently by cutting up small pieces of fruit and feeding it to them. They will soon comprehend how to eat and dispell it.
In order to get the pups used to being handled, you should stroke the baby guinea pigs from a young age. Each day you should give more and more affection. When they are small don't deal with them too much as you will frighten them, but keep in taste with them so they know you are friendly.

The Disadvantages of Free Web Hosting
This record is meant to be a warning to anything who may be considering using a free web host in the near future. While using a free host is not all the time the worst thing in the world to do, there are some things that you need to keep in mind when using these host. Otherwise you will come to be the Anakin Skywalker of web hosting. You have heard the expression all things has a price, web hosting is no different. The former issues that exist, are one's that could derail your hopes of being flourishing in firm if you are not aware of the pitfalls to look out for. These are just a few of the things that any person that is considering, using a free hosting needs to keep in mind. That way they will not end up getting burned on their experience.
1. Absence of Experience
Guinea Pigs Sounds
First anything who has a distinguished adequate computer and some fancy software can be a web host. Therefore, it is important that you investigate any firm that you decree that you want to use to host your web site. Find out how long have they been around, ask what their up time rate is. Ask do they have backup servers if one fails. The last thing that you want to do is signing up with a new firm that is going through their growing pains and is using you as their guinea pigs to work out the bugs.
2. 24/7 Support
It is important that you find a firm that offers 24/7 support. A good dependable firm will have a preserve staff that is ready 24 hours a day seven days a week. If you run over a firm that closes up shop at 5:00 and don't open back until 9:00 the next morning, it is best you stay away from this firm and run while you still can. Also does the buyer service department sound knowledgeable? I had a gentleman tell me about a firm that he used and when he called with a question was told by the buyer service representative that they had no idea how to fix the question on their end.
3. service Level Agreement
Look for a service level agreement. This should in plain English point out what will happen if a question arises and any other information that the firm feels is requisite in order to satisfy the customers needs and fix any problems that arise. These are the basic things that you need to be on the outlook for when searching for a web hosting service. If one or more of these are not in order chances are you will regret doing firm with this firm in the long run. Free web hosting can be a very fun experience, however you must know exactly what you are getting into from the very beginning.

Guinea Pig Bites - Is Biting A Problem?
Guinea pigs very rarely bite. When they are frightened, they prefer to run and hide, instead of fighting, so children and adults can safely handle them without fear. Still it is all the time a good idea when handling any small pet to wash your hands thoroughly before you pick them up, especially if you have been dealing with food. If your fingers smell like food, then the guinea pigs may mistakenly be biting you.
Baby guinea pigs do have a tendency to nibble on fingers because, just like any young animal, they learn about their environment by exploring it with their mouths. Eventually, they will outgrow this.
Guinea Pigs Sounds
On opening you may find a guinea pig that does bite. This is relatively rare, but it does happen sometimes. When it does, you don't need to give up on the guinea pig, he can be helped.
Usually, there are two reasons why an animal bites:
1. They are afraid of you
or
2. They feel they are more dominate than you.
Before you help your guinea pig with its problem, you need to settle which of these is the case for your pet.
A guinea pig who bites out of fear is regularly very timid and may try to avoid you, even in the cage. He may curl up into the corners so that you can't find him. When you touch him, the guinea pig may start shivering or shaking because he is afraid. In these cases, the guinea pig is so scared that he feels he has to fight back in order to defend himself. To stop this behavior, you must start slowly.
Don't pick up the animal, but instead start by reaching into the cage and stroking its head briefly. Then, gently increase your contact with the guinea pig until it feels comfortable with you handling him. It may take awhile and it may require a great deal of patience, but the payoff will be a closer association in the middle of the two of you and a happier guinea pig.
There are also two ways you don't want to handle whether of these situations. First, never make sounds like an injured guinea pig if he bites you. Some citizen foolishly believe that the guinea pig will feel so bad for causing you pain that he'll immediately stop, but that's not how the animal thinks. Instead, they feel more dominate since a whining guinea pig is regularly the weaker one, and your problems will only get worse. Other thing not to do is to yell or hit your guinea pig.
Because biting is a rare possibility, it is regularly good for an adult to handle the animal for the first few days to make sure that this type of behavior isn't going to be a problem.

Dr. Dolittle Specifications
There's something intrinsically funny about tactlessly truth-telling talking animals. And there are plenty of those--and laughs to go with them--in this 1998 reimagining of Hugh Lofting's children's story. Murphy plays the doctor in question, a modern-day San Francisco physician who discovers that he can understand what animals have to say. Director Betty Thomas makes the most of an amazing voice cast for the animals, led by Norm McDonald and including everyone from Garry Shandling to Julie Kavner to Albert Brooks. The story itself is pretty slim--will the conscientious doctor sign his soul away to a greedy HMO?--but Murphy makes the most of it, often providing priceless reactions to animal voices only he can hear. --Marshall FineCustomer Reviews
